Rwandan consumption of soybean oil is set to reach 1,040 metric tons by 2026. This is a modest increase of 0.6% annually, on average, from 1,000 metric tons in 2021. Since 2017, demand for the oil has remained relatively stable. In 2021, Rwanda ranked 102nd worldwide in soybean oil consumption, with Moldova coming in ahead at 1,000 metric tons. China, India, and Brazil respectively ranked second, third, and fourth for the oil.
