Consumption of soybean oil in Uzbekistan is projected to reach around 44,000 metric tons by 2026. This figure is up from 34,000 metric tons in 2021, representing an average annual growth rate of 4.2%. Since 2017, Uzbek demand has grown 3.1% annually. In 2021, the country ranked 53rd in terms of consumption, with Lebanon overtaking Uzbekistan. China, India, and Brazil occupied the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th spots, respectively. Meanwhile, production of soybean oil in Uzbekistan is expected to decline to 319,000 metric tons in 2026, compared to 823,000 metric tons in 2021, representing an average annual decline of 15.5%. Since 1997, production has grown 17.7% annually. In 2021, the country ranked 85th in terms of production, with Belize surpassing Uzbekistan. The United States, Brazil, and Argentina held the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th positions, respectively.
