Cuban soybean oil consumption is on the rise and is projected to hit 82,850 metric tons by 2026. This is a slight increase of 0.2% since 2021, when it was at 82,000 metric tons. In the same period, demand has remained stable. Malaysia has overtaken Cuba in the ranking, coming in at number 33, while China, India and Brazil ranked 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Meanwhile, Cuban soybean oil production is projected to reach 27,080 metric tons by 2026, up 1.8% from 24,310 metric tons in 2021. Since 1966, the country's supply has risen 6.6% year-on-year. Hungary has overtaken Cuba in the ranking, coming in at number 47, while the United States, Brazil and Argentina ranked 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
