Zimbabwe's demand for soybean oil is expected to rise to around 70,000 tonnes by 2026, from 62,000 tonnes in 2021. Since 2017, Zimbabwe's demand has grown at an annual rate of 2.3%. In 2021, the country was ranked 40th in this ranking, with Israel overtaking it at 62,000 tonnes. China, India and Brazil came in 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Meanwhile, Zimbabwean production of soybean oil is expected to decrease to 10,210 tonnes by 2026, from 11,320 tonnes in 2021, at an average rate of 1.7% per year. Since 1979, Zimbabwe's supply has been increasing at an average rate of 3.4% per year. The country was ranked 57th in 2021, with Uruguay coming ahead at 11,320 tonnes. The United States, Brazil and Argentina were 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
