China, India, and Brazil ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th for soybean oil consumption, respectively. Moroccan soybean oil production saw a dramatic decrease in 2018, dropping to 4,400 metric tons from 10,200 metric tons in 2017 - a decrease of 57%. Since 1970, year-on-year supply has decreased by 15%. In 2018, Morocco ranked 69th in the world in terms of soybean oil production, below Latvia at 4,400 metric tons. The United States, Brazil, and Argentina ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th for soybean oil production, respectively.
