Bulgaria's soybean oil consumption is projected to remain at 12,000 metric tons through 2026, with no change since 2017. In 2021, Bulgaria ranked 73rd, just behind Trinidad and Tobago, which consumed 12,000 metric tons. China, India and Brazil occupied the second, third and fourth spots, respectively. Bulgaria's soybean oil production is expected to fall slightly to 2,880 metric tons by 2026, a 0.2% decrease from 2021. Since 1966, its production has dropped 20.1%. In 2021, Bulgaria ranked 75th, behind the Dominican Republic, which produced 2,910 metric tons. The United States, Brazil and Argentina were the second, third and fourth highest producers, respectively.
