Moldavian demand for soybean oil is expected to remain the same by 2026, according to a new report. The country’s consumption was 1,000 metric tons in 2021, ranking 102nd in the world. The Republic of Congo had the same amount, taking the top spot. China, India, and Brazil ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively. Meanwhile, Moldavian soybean oil production is forecast to drop by 13% annually, reaching 656 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, the country produced 1,440 metric tons and was in 80th place globally. Syria topped the list with 1,440 metric tons, followed by the United States, Brazil, and Argentina.
