Sri Lanka's soybean oil production is expected to grow slightly in the coming years, reaching 1,550 metric tons by 2026. This is 0.6% higher than the 1,500 metric tons of production in 2021. Since 1966, soybean oil production has declined by 10.7% on an annual basis. The country was ranked 79th in 2021, with Moldova ranking ahead of them at 1,500 metric tons. The United States, Brazil and Argentina followed behind in the rankings at 2nd, 3rd and 4th places respectively. In 2018, the country's soybean oil consumption was recorded at 1 thousand metric tons, up slightly from 1 thousand metric tons in the previous year.
