On the production front, Macedonian spice output is anticipated to grow modestly, reaching 6,350 metric tons by 2028, up from 6,000 metric tons in 2023. This reflects an annual growth rate of 0.8% CAGR. Since 2019, the country's spice production has remained steady. Macedonia ranked 48th in global spice production in 2023, with Guyana slightly ahead at 6,000 metric tons. China, Nigeria, and Indonesia were the top producers, holding the second, third, and fourth spots in the global rankings.
