Czech spice consumption is projected to hold steady at approximately 7,000 metric tons by 2028, maintaining the same level as in 2023. This stability has been observed since 2019. In the global ranking for 2023, the Czech Republic stood at number 61, with Denmark slightly ahead, also at 7,000 metric tons. Leading the rankings were Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Thailand, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions respectively. In contrast, Czech spice production is expected to decline slightly. By 2028, production is forecasted to reach around 1,800 metric tons, down from 2,000 metric tons in 2023, marking a 1.1% annual decrease. Production levels have remained stable since 2019. In the 2023 global ranking, the Czech Republic was placed 54th, just behind Cape Verde, which also produced 2,000 metric tons. The top spots were held by China, Nigeria, and Indonesia, ranked second, third, and fourth respectively.
