Egypt is projected to increase its garlic production to 369,060 metric tons by 2026. This is an annual increase of 1.5% from 2021's 338,000 metric tons. Since 1966, the production has grown by 4.4% each year on average. In 2021, Egypt was the fifth highest garlic producer in the world, with South Korea in the lead at 338,000 metric tons. India, Bangladesh and South Korea were the second, third and fourth highest producers, respectively.
