Canadians are producing more strawberries than ever before. The country is projected to reach 29,890 metric tons of strawberry production by 2026, growing at an average rate of 0.8% each year since 1966. Belgium had the highest production in 2021 with 28,440 metric tons, followed by the United States, Mexico and Egypt.
