Taiwan's strawberry production is on the rise. It is estimated that it will reach 9,800 metric tons by 2026, up from 9,100 metric tons in 2021. This is a 1.2% year-on-year growth rate. Since 1988, strawberry production in Taiwan has increased by 4% each year. In 2021, the country was ranked 41st in the world, just behind South Africa, which stood at 9,100 metric tons. The United States, Mexico, and Egypt were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
