Irish strawberry production is projected to increase slightly over the next few years. In 2021, the country produced 6,020 metric tons - ranking 47th globally. This was a slight decline from the previous year, with production having fallen 1.2% annually since 1966. Denmark led the way with 6,070 metric tons, followed by the United States, Mexico and Egypt in second, third and fourth place respectively.
