Global strawberry production is set to reach 10.2 million metric tons by 2026, growing at an annual rate of 1.6%. Since 1966, global supply has increased by nearly 3% each year. In 2021, China was the world's top producer of strawberries, with 3.4 million metric tons. The United States, Mexico, and Egypt followed, making up the top four. Luxembourg's strawberry production saw the biggest jump in 2021, rising 18.5% year on year. Venezuela, however, had the biggest decrease, falling 21.8% since 1966.
