Grape consumption in Suriname is expected to rise only slightly in the coming years. In 2021, the country consumed one thousand metric tons of grapes, ranking 107th in the world. This is on par with Uganda, but far behind the leaders: the United States, India, and Iran, which consumed 2, 3, and 4 thousand metric tons respectively. While Suriname's consumption has remained stable since 2017, it is forecasted to climb to 1.02 thousand metric tons by 2026, representing a 0.6% annual growth rate.
