Consumption of grapes in the Dominican Republic is on the rise. In 2021, the country consumed 15,000 metric tons, up 2.3% from 2017. This growth is expected to continue, with consumption reaching 16,000 metric tons by 2026, growing at an average annual rate of 1.3%. The Dominican Republic ranked 78th in 2021 for grape consumption. Ecuador was ahead, consuming 15,000 metric tons. The United States, India and Iran respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
