This represents a slight decrease of 0.2% on average each year since 1966, when Libya was number 63 in the world for grape production. Palestine has since overtaken Libya, producing 31,280 metric tons in 2021. Italy, the United States, and Spain follow in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
