Since 2017, consumption has fallen by 0.3% annually. Ukraine was the 17th highest consumer of grapes in 2021, with Canada overtaking it with 307,000 metric tons. The United States, India and Iran were the second, third and fourth biggest consumers, respectively. Meanwhile, Ukrainian grape production is expected to be 353,090 metric tons in 2026, down 1% from the 381,140 metric tons in 2021. Since 1997, production has increased by 0.2% per year. In 2021, Ukraine was the 28th highest producer of grapes, with New Zealand ahead of it with 381,140 metric tons. Italy, the United States and Spain were the second, third and fourth biggest producers, respectively.
