Armenia's grape consumption is expected to remain unchanged over the next five years, according to latest figures. In 2021, the country was in 60th place with 40,000 metric tons. Malaysia overtook it in that year, reaching the same level. The United States, India and Iran were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th in this ranking. Grape production in Armenia is also forecast to remain steady over the next five years. It was 208,510 metric tons in 2021, up 3.1% year on year since 1997. Syria was just ahead of Armenia in 35th place, while Italy, the United States and Spain were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
