Grape consumption in Azerbaijan is expected to reach 126,000 metric tons by 2026, according to the latest figures. This is an increase of 0.4% from the 124,000 metric tons consumed in 2021. Since 2017, there has been no change in demand. Indonesia overtook Azerbaijan in 2021 with 124,000 metric tons, putting the country in 36th place. The United States, India, and Iran were the next three highest consumers in the ranking. Azerbaijan’s grape production is set to reach 217,000 metric tons by 2026, up 1.5% from the 198,000 metric tons produced in 2021. Since 1997, there has been an increase of 7.7% year on year. Armenia was ahead of Azerbaijan in 2021 with 198,000 metric tons, placing the country in 36th place. Italy, the United States, and Spain were the top three producers in the ranking.
