Argentinian melon production is set to increase slightly in the coming years. In 2021, the country produced 81,470 metric tons of melons, a slight rise from the previous year's figure. This growth rate of 0.1% year-on-year has been consistent since 1966. In terms of global rankings, Argentina was placed 29th in 2021, having been overtaken by Syria. India, Kazakhstan and Iran were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
