Belizean melon production is set to reach half a million metric tons by 2026. That's a 1% increase each year, on average, since 2021 when production was at 475 metric tons. Since 1994, Belizean melon production has declined by 14%. In 2021, Belize was the 82nd biggest producer, just behind El Salvador with 475 metric tons. India, Kazakhstan and Iran ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
