Greece's melon production is set to decline over the next five years. By 2026, the country is expected to produce 17,510 metric tons - a decrease of 18.1% from the 2021 total of 53,020 metric tons. Since 1966, Greek supply has dropped an average of 12.5% each year. In 2021, Greece was the 35th biggest producer of melons, behind Romania, which produced 53,020 metric tons. India, Kazakhstan and Iran ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
