Macedonia's melon production is set to increase to 1,260 metric tons by 2026. This marks a 1.2% average yearly growth since 2021, when the country's production was 1,180 metric tons. This is an even faster rate than the 1.5% year-on-year growth since 2007. In 2021, Macedonia was ranked 74th in terms of melon production, with Panama ahead at 1,180 metric tons. India, Kazakhstan and Iran were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
