Since 2000, production has fallen by 0.8% year-on-year. In 2021, Ukraine was the 23rd largest melon producer in the world, with Indonesia overtaking Ukraine's production level at 111,150 metric tons. India, Kazakhstan and Iran were the world's second, third and fourth largest producers respectively.
