Pakistan's melon production slumped 17.5% in 2019, down to 8,090 metric tons from 9,810 metric tons the previous year. This is the lowest amount recorded since 1966, a 44.9% decrease year-on-year. Canada topped the 2019 rankings with 8,090 metric tons, followed by India, Kazakhstan and Iran at numbers two, three and four respectively.
