Lao melon production is forecast to hit 29,510 metric tons by 2026. That is a 3.4% annual increase from the 24,060 metric tons recorded in 2021. Since 1966, Lao melon supply has grown by an average of 5% a year. In 2021, the country was ranked 49th, with Libya ahead of it at 24,060 metric tons. India, Kazakhstan and Iran were in second, third and fourth place respectively.
