Puerto Rican melon production rose to around 101 metric tons in 2019 - a 4.1% jump from the 97 metric tons of 2018. This marks a 24.3% increase from 1985. The country came in at number 87 in 2019, with French Polynesia taking the lead at 101 metric tons. India, Kazakhstan and Iran followed in second, third and fourth place.
