Cook Islander coconut production is set to fall by 3.9% each year, on average, over the next five years. This follows a decrease of 3.3% annually over the last 55 years. In 2021, the Cook Islands ranked 79th in the world for coconut production, with 1,150 metric tons. Tuvalu was ahead of them with 1,460 metric tons. India, the Philippines and Sri Lanka came in second, third and fourth, respectively.
