Tanzanian coconut import is projected to decline over the next five years. It is forecast to reach 347,000 metric tons by 2026, down 0.6% from 2021. From 2017 to 2021, demand for Tanzanian coconuts has fallen 0.7% each year. Meanwhile, Tanzanian coconut production is expected to drop 0.8% annually over the same period. Output was 421,560 metric tons in 2021, with China taking the top spot. India, the Philippines and Sri Lanka followed in second, third and fourth place.
