From 2017 to 2021, demand for Tanzanian coconuts has fallen 0.7% each year. Meanwhile, Tanzanian coconut production is expected to drop 0.8% annually over the same period. Output was 421,560 metric tons in 2021, with China taking the top spot. India, the Philippines and Sri Lanka followed in second, third and fourth place.
