The country recorded a negative growth rate of 0.8%. India, the Philippines and Sri Lanka respectively ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4 in the ranking. Togo's coconut production is set to fall slightly over the next five years. Total production is projected to dip from 10,780 metric tons in 2021 to around 10,050 metric tons in 2026. This would represent a year-on-year drop of 1.2%. This follows a 0.8% decrease in production annually since 1966. Togo ranked 51st in 2021 in terms of production, behind Ecuador's 10,780 metric tons. India, the Philippines and Sri Lanka were second, third and fourth respectively. In 2018, Togo imported 4,000 metric tons of coconut, a 0.8% decrease on the previous year. India, the Philippines and Sri Lanka once again occupied the top three spots, in that order.
