This is a slight decrease compared to the 0.7% year-on-year decline experienced since 2017. Cuban coconut production is expected to drop by 1.9% year on year, from 54,840 metric tons in 2021 to 49,070 metric tons by 2026. This follows the downward trend of 1.7% year-on-year since 1966. The country was ranked 33rd in 2021, with the Solomon Islands leading with 54,840 metric tons. India, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka were ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively.
