In 2021, Saint Lucia produced 7,440 metric tons of coconuts, down 3.1% from the previous year. This marks the 55th year of year-on-year decline since 1966. Fiji overtook Saint Lucia with 8,960 metric tons of coconut production. India, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka took the top three positions in the ranking. Saint Lucia imported 1,000 metric tons of coconuts in 2018, up from 1,000 metric tons in 2017.
