The country has seen a steady growth of 1% year-on-year since 1966. In 2021, Equatorial Guinea was the 56th largest coconut producer in the world. Saint Lucia came ahead at 7,880 metric tons. India, the Philippines and Sri Lanka followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
