Coconut production in East Timor is projected to dip slightly over the next five years. In 2021, the country produced 7,110 metric tons of coconuts, placing it 59th on the list of top coconut-producing countries. That’s down 0.2% from the year before. American Samoa beat out East Timor for 58th place in 2021, with a production of 6,550 metric tons. India, the Philippines and Sri Lanka took the next three spots, with the Philippines leading the way at 11,170 metric tons.
