Banana production in Micronesia is set to stay at around 2,000 metric tons through 2026, according to research. This number has remained largely unchanged since 2000. In 2021, Micronesia ranked 95th in banana production, with Brunei taking the lead with 2,000 metric tons. China, Indonesia and Brazil were the top three banana-producing countries, coming in at number 2, 3 and 4, respectively.
