Since 2017, Tunisian consumption of bananas has risen by 6% each year. In 2021, Tunisia was ranked number 90 in worldwide banana consumption. Honduras had the highest consumption with 44,000 tons, followed by China, Indonesia, and Brazil in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
