Togo overtook Benin in 2021, ranking 105th with a consumption of 20,000 metric tons. China, Indonesia, and Brazil were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Beninese production of bananas is set to rise slightly in the next five years, with a CAGR of 1.5%. In 2021, the country produced 23,100 metric tons, up 2.5% from 1966. Samoa overtook Benin in 2021, producing 23,100 metric tons. China, Indonesia, and Brazil were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
