Since 2017, demand for bananas in Bosnia has risen by an average 2.1% each year. In 2021, the country was ranked 88th in the world for banana consumption, with Slovakia overtaking it at 50,000 metric tons. China, Indonesia and Brazil were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
