Since 2017, Polish demand for bananas has grown at a rate of 1.5% per year. In 2021, Poland came in at number 64 on the global ranking, with Israel overtaking it at 117,000 metric tons. China, Indonesia and Brazil were the second, third, and fourth largest consumers of bananas, respectively.
