Tokelauan banana production is set to increase by a tiny 0.1% by 2026. The country has not seen any change in production since 1966, and is currently ranked 120th in the world. Niue overtook Tokelau in 2021, with 16 metric tons of production. China, Indonesia and Brazil remain the top three banana producers, with no sign of changing any time soon.
