Wine production in Zimbabwe is set to increase by 0.8% year on year, reaching 2,230 metric tons by 2026. Since 1979, wine supply in the country has risen by 0.9% annually. In 2021, Zimbabwe was ranked 56th in the world, overtaken by Kyrgyzstan with 2,130 metric tons. France, Spain and the United States took the top three spots in the ranking. In 2018, Zimbabwean wine consumption was close to 4 thousand metric tons, compared to 4 thousand metric tons the previous year.
