Nigerian wine consumption is projected to decline to approximately 18,000 metric tons by 2028, down from around 21,000 metric tons in 2023. This represents an annual decrease of about 2.7%. The trend of decreasing wine consumption in Nigeria isn't new. Since 2019, the country's demand for wine has fallen by an average of 3.4% each year.
