French champagne imports are expected to reach 1.45 million liters by 2026, up 2.7% year on year. This is an increase from the 1.24 million liters of 2021. Over the past two decades, this figure has increased by 25.8%. Denmark was the top importer in 2021, with 1.24 million liters. Germany, Belgium and Italy followed with exports of 2, 3 and 4 respectively. French champagne exports are projected to reach 123 million liters by 2026, up 0.9% year on year. This is a slight increase from the 116.65 million liters of 2021. Over the past two decades, French supply has increased by 1.6%. The Netherlands, Germany and Italy were the top exporters in 2021, in that order.
