Exports of Italian Champagne are set to reach 1.2 million liters by 2026, up from 1.1 million liters in 2021 – an average 1.4% annual growth. Since 2000, Italian supply has grown by 10% each year. In 2021, Germany topped the rankings with 1.1 million liters, followed by the Netherlands, Germany and Italy in second, third and fourth places respectively. Italian Champagne imports are expected to hit 6.4 million liters in 2026, a 0.5% annual increase from 6.2 million liters in 2021. Since 2000, Italian demand has grown by 4.3% each year. In 2021, Belgium came first with 6.2 million liters, followed by Germany, Belgium and Italy in second, third and fourth places respectively.
