Austrian demand for Champagne is set to reach 1.6 million liters by 2026, increasing at an average rate of 1.7% year on year. Since 2000, demand has grown 3.2% year on year. Austria came in 8th place in 2021, with 1.5 million liters. Sweden was ahead with 1.5 million liters, followed by Germany, Belgium and Italy. Meanwhile, Austrian supply of Champagne is set to fall to 16,710 liters by 2026, declining at an average rate of 4.8% year on year. Since 2000, supply has gone down 11.2% year on year. Austria was 17th in 2021, with Poland leading the way with 22,220 liters. The Netherlands, Germany and Italy were 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively.
