Export of Portuguese Champagne is expected to drop by 1.1% year on year on average, reaching 117,310 liters by 2026. In 2021, Portugal placed 12th in the ranking, with 124,980 liters of supply – slightly behind Estonia. The top three countries were the Netherlands, Germany and Italy. Import of Portuguese Champagne, however, is predicted to increase by 0.7% year on year on average, reaching 622,940 liters by 2026. In 2021, Portugal came in 13th, at 597,030 liters – slightly behind Latvia. Germany, Belgium and Italy were the top three countries. Since 2000, Portuguese demand has grown 3.6% year on year.
