Slovene Champagne exports are set to drop by 3% by 2026. In 2021, the country was ranked 20th in the world, producing 5,460 liters. This marks a 17.9% decrease since 2006. Meanwhile, the Netherlands, Germany, and Italy ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively. Slovene Champagne imports are predicted to grow by 1.4% by 2026. Last year, Slovenia came in 26th, importing 33,370 liters. Again, this is a 4.7% decrease since 2006. Germany, Belgium, and Italy ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively. Malta overtook Slovenia in 2021.
