Taiwan is set to increase its eggplant production to almost 40,000 metric tons by 2026, growing at an average rate of 1.6% each year. Since 1966, the Taiwanese eggplant supply has seen an average annual growth of 7.9%. In 2021, the country came in at 34th place with 36,000 metric tons. Oman came in ahead at 36,060 metric tons, with India, Egypt, and Iran ranked second, third, and fourth in the rankings respectively.
